Our rating
4.4 / 5
Weighted from five criteria published on our review methodology page, using Judge.me's own published pricing and plan limits. Last checked 2026-09-28.
- Free plan usefulness
- 5/530% weight
- The free plan includes unlimited reviews, so a store doing up to 50 orders a month can collect social proof without paying at all.
- Entry price for a small seller
- 4/520% weight
- The paid plan is $15/month flat, inside the $10.01 to $20 band, and that is also the maximum.
- Cost predictability as you grow
- 5/520% weight
- A flat price that does not scale with order volume. Judge.me states $15 per month is the most you can ever pay, so there is nothing to recalculate as you grow.
- Platform fit
- 3/520% weight
- Shopify only. Judge.me has sunset its apps on WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Squarespace, Square, Duda and PrestaShop, so sellers on those platforms cannot use it at all.
- Price transparency
- 5/510% weight
- Both plans and the price are published on the pricing page, and the sunset dates for the discontinued platforms are published in the help centre.
Quick verdict
Judge.me is one of the best starting review apps for small Shopify stores, and the flat $15/month ceiling is the reason it stays that way as you grow. Most review apps charge by monthly order volume, so the cost rises exactly when you start succeeding. If you are choosing between Judge.me and an order-volume-priced app, work out what the other one costs at your expected order volume before deciding, because Judge.me's number does not move. The one thing to check first is your platform: Judge.me is Shopify-only now, so if you are on WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Squarespace, Square, Duda or PrestaShop, this review does not apply to you and you need one of the alternatives instead.

What is Judge.me?
Judge.me is a Shopify review app that helps merchants collect and display product reviews. It is now Shopify-only: from October 2025 Judge.me began sunsetting its apps on WooCommerce, Square, Squarespace, Duda, BigCommerce and PrestaShop, and its own help centre now states that Judge.me has been sunset on all non-Shopify platforms. Its pricing is unusual for a review app and worth stating plainly: there are two plans, the free plan includes unlimited reviews, and Judge.me's own pricing page describes $15 per month as the most you can ever pay. There is no scaling cost and no order-volume tier, which is the opposite of how most review apps price themselves.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Free plan includes unlimited reviews
- Paid plan is a flat $15/month with no scaling cost
- One-click install from the Shopify App Store
- Review widgets and photo reviews included
Cons
- Shopify only — Judge.me has sunset its apps on every other platform
- The free plan needs a Shopify store, so it cannot be tried standalone
- Advanced presentation is behind the paid plan
- Visual polish may depend on your theme
Free plan and pricing
Free plan
A permanent free plan that includes unlimited reviews, for Shopify stores. The limit is on advanced features rather than on review volume, which makes it usable for far longer than most free tiers on this site — but the Shopify requirement comes first, and there is no way around it.
- Unlimited reviews
- Requires a Shopify store — the plan is installed from the Shopify App Store
- Not available on WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Squarespace, Square, Duda or PrestaShop
- Advanced presentation features require the paid plan

Pricing in detail
Judge.me has two plans. The free plan is aimed at new and smaller stores and includes unlimited reviews. The paid plan is $15/month, which Judge.me describes as a flat price with no hidden fees and no scaling costs. Compare that with review apps that charge by monthly order volume, where the bill rises as the store grows: with Judge.me the cost is the same whether you process 50 orders a month or 5,000. One constraint now applies before price does, though: Judge.me is Shopify-only. Its help centre states that Judge.me has been sunset on all non-Shopify platforms, with WooCommerce, Square and Squarespace ending 31 October 2025, Duda on 31 December 2025, BigCommerce on 12 January 2026 and PrestaShop on 31 January 2026. After those dates, access to the app and its data is permanently removed. If you sell on any of those platforms, Judge.me is not an option at any price.
What we checked in the product
- 2026-09-28: Followed the free plan's signup path from the pricing page. The 'Collect reviews for free' button leads to the Shopify App Store listing rather than to a Judge.me signup form, and the install step asks for your store address in the form 'your-store.myshopify.com'. So the free plan cannot be started without a Shopify store. We did not connect a store.
Who should use Judge.me?

- Anyone without a Shopify store, since the free plan cannot be installed standalone
- Brands that need luxury visual photo review presentation
- Users who do not want to configure widgets

Frequently asked questions
Is Judge.me free?
For Shopify stores, yes. The free plan includes unlimited reviews and is aimed at new and smaller stores. It is installed from the Shopify App Store, so a Shopify store is required. Advanced presentation features require the paid plan.
Does Judge.me work on WooCommerce or BigCommerce?
No, not any more. Judge.me sunset its apps on non-Shopify platforms: WooCommerce, Square and Squarespace ended on 31 October 2025, Duda on 31 December 2025, BigCommerce on 12 January 2026 and PrestaShop on 31 January 2026. After those dates, access to the app and its data was permanently removed. Judge.me's help centre now states that it has been sunset on all non-Shopify platforms, and the company says it will continue to be fully supported on Shopify.

$15/month, and Judge.me describes that as the most you can ever pay. There are two plans and the paid one does not scale with order volume.
Is Judge.me good for small Shopify stores?

Is Judge.me better than Loox?
